The American Institute of Diamond Cutting is equipped to offer professional opinions based on laboratory testing and experienced observations on the following subjects:
- Rough diamonds that may or may not be natural
- Rough diamonds that may have been treated to imitate fancy colors
- Finished diamonds that are natural or synthetic
- Color bands that can be utilized to create fancy colors
- Cutting and polishing procedures to enhance face up color
- Reducing face up yellow colors by re-proportioning the finished diamond
- Color concentrations in both rough and finished
